Cedar Berry Basket

This fun, functional basket combines several weaving styles including twillwork, twining, checkerweave, and a diagonal folded rim. Western red cedar and coastal sweetgrass weave the main elements of the berry basket. An overlay of beargrass adds color and design. For those people wishing to retake this class, a variation of the original pattern will be shown, including new weaving techniques and creative color options. Finished basket size will be 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches square.
