Primitive Cooking

Primitive cooking is a fun and useful skill to know whether for survival or to surprise your next dinner guests. In this program we will be preparing wild and not-so-wild meals, covering techniques from drying & smoking to steam pit cooking. Rock boiling, primitive oven, clay baking, and planking are a few of the other skills covered in class. A fun evening slide presentation of last summer's steam pit pig will demonstrate what's possible with primitive cooking. We hope you will join us for some great meals while learning these valuable skills.
