Fire by Friction

Become more confident in the wilderness knowing you can make fire without matches. Round out your fire making skills as you learn to create fire using the ancient method of bow and drill. In this hands on workshop you will be taught the many aspects of fire making, from tinder collection to carving each piece of the bow and drill set-up. This program is great for Scouts working on their merit badges, wilderness travelers, or those wishing to brush up on their bow and drill skills. Join us to discover the magic of fire!
