Bow Making

This is a comprehensive, hands-on course teaching the fine art of bow and bowstring making. In this program, you will learn the process of crafting a wooden self-bow, working from stave to shooting bow. Frank will be covering the details of wood and stave seasoning, to bow layout through the final tillering and burnishing. He will demonstrate shooting techniques so you may practice with your newly crafted bow. He will also show his collections of traditional arrows and Northwest Style Quivers to give you some great ideas to create your own. This is an in-depth, hands-on course. Come prepared for rewarding work, hearty meals, and great company.
