Cedar Honoring Basket or Necklace

The bark of the cedar is a tremendous gift from the tree. To show our respect for this gift we see that even the smallest pieces don’t go to waste. These small strips are used in creating our miniature necklace baskets. Embellish your basket with a variety of beads, shells, or seeds. This basket is sure to draw comments whenever you wear it. Miniature baskets may also be made without the twine added for a necklace. The techniques used in weaving this basket can also be applied to creating larger projects. You may weave more than one basket as time permits.
