Cheese making is an ancient art that has been practiced since the domestication of animals. Join us to learn this ancient skill while creating a variety of cheeses including feta, mozzarella, pannier, and more. Cultured milk products such as kefir, yogurt, and cultured butter will also be explored. This class includes lots of hands-on and is designed so that children may also participate. Included is a lunch of pizza or calzones with freshly made mozzarella, a garden salad with herbed feta cheese, and yogurt smoothies for dessert. Bring home with you mozzarella cheese, marinated feta, and the knowledge and recipes to create more delicious cheeses at home.
