Elder Flower Champagne

The Blue Elder has been used for centuries both for its edible and medicinal qualities. Join us in learning how to utilize the delicate elder blossoms to create a wonderful champagne. In this class you will learn how to identify the elder plant, as well as the process of starting a new batch of champagne. As the process is quite lengthy, you will learn the bottling process by racking previously prepared champagne. Each participant will leave with a bottle of elder flower champagne as well as a variety of recipes and handouts for creating additional batches at home.
