Primitive Fishing
Indigenous peoples relied upon the bounty of
the waters for sustenance. They successfully provided for
themselves by mastering fishing skills. Learn these ancient
techniques while making your own fish spear and arrows. We’ll
practice bow fishing and spearing at a nearby waterway with your
newly made tools. Additional instructions will be given on water
stalking, fishing traps and weirs, and net making and dipping,
as well as how to preserve your catch by drying and smoking.
