Fall Roots & Berries

Fall brings us a multitude of fruits, nuts, and berries that have ripened and are in their prime for harvest. In this program we will be making wild jams, jellies, syrups, and wine in addition to pickling and preparing a variety of local wild roots. Field identification of plants covered earlier in the year will deepen your understanding of the plant world. This is a fun, hands-on program where you will create many wild delicacies to take home to share with family and friends.
